2002 Ford Escort ZX2

For 2002 the Base model zx2 is joined by two trim levels, the Deluxe and the Premium. All three trim levels are equipped with a 2.0-liter twin-cam 16-valve four-cylinder engine. Manual 5-speed transmission is standard and the 4-speed automatic transmission is optional. Anti-lock braking system is optional and can be fitted into the zx2 for extra cost. The Deluxe and Premium trims come with an optional sunroof. While a 6-disc, in-dash CD player is available only for the Premium trim.

The base level offers the standard power steering capacity. Inside the zx2 rich fabric is used as upholstery and sporty bucket seats give extra comfort. Split folding rear seat provide extra space if needed. Other standard equipments are the power mirrors, AM/FM/cassette, digital clock, tachometer, rear defogger, variable-intermittent wipers, and visor mirrors. The Deluxe trim drops in a few additional comfort features like the air conditioning, tilt leather-wrapped steering wheel, cruise control, map lights and floor mats. For the Premium level the power windows, power door locks and remote keyless entry were added.
